What is Stealth PGP? Is it a separate utility to hide the begin PGP
text?
Where can I get one?

Thanks.

It's a filter that takes binary PGP output and strips off the identifying
headers. There are several versions that do different things (e.g. one will
also change the byte frequencies, another modifies the RSA header to remove
the last traces of non-randomness).

ftp.funet.fi used to have some versions on it, as do most of the other
PGP sites. Adam Back's Stealth Web page has pointers to most versions,
AFAIR.

Yes. It strips off the PGP headers, so a program can no longer
automatically scan your outgoing messages to detect that you are using
PGP.

Here's a couple of places with info on Stealth:

http://www.c2.org/~mark/pgp/s-readme.html
ftp://ftp.csua.berkeley.edu/pub/cypherpunks/pgp/Stealth1.1.tar.Z

Links to these places (and others) are available on my PGP Utilities and
Services page at

Stop by for a visit.

Not exactly. It operates on binary x.PGP files and removes binary
header bytes that identify it as a PGP file and identifies to whom
RSA-encrypted files are addressed.

On the receiving end, it replaces the header bytes, assuming a key for
decryption specified by the user. (If the assumption is incorrect, the
file cannot be decrypted).

Since the output of stealth is another binary file, you need to find
your own way to ship it over the net. You could use PGP armoring, but
better (more stealthy) would be to use another method such as
UUENCODing or MIME (attached file from Eudora, etc.)

Try

ftp://ftp.dsi.unimi.it/pub/security/crypt/code/stealth.zip

This was good at one time. I couldn't verify it just now due to bad
response time. Maybe that host is down?
