You'll be lucky if you can get a manual - the CPF 2 was rendered
obsolete almost twelve years ago now, although in running down stocks,
it was installed until about nine years ago. I guess it's possible
that some engineers re-install them as private jobs when removing them
from (company) customers prems.

As far as operation of the CPF 2 goes, ask away - I do these things in
my sleep (still). It's basically a keyswitch control - turn it to on
to use the system, or to off (day) to switch it off. ISTR there was a
test position on the switch too - this starts the exit tones, but does
not allow the system to set, allowing you to walk test the system -
the tone goes from continuous when all is clear to warbled when a
detector is open. There was also a bell test button on some versions
- put the system in test mode and hit the button - the bell/siren
should operate all the time the button is depressed.

There is an option to "part" set the system, isolating anything on
circuit two - typically this would have been anything upstairs, or
internal detection, allowing you to arm the permimiter of the house
without upsetting the alarm by moving around inside.

Email away if you need more info.

I may be wrong but I think the CPF2 was a slim line code operated unit

To arm the system you entered the first two digits and press set
You can change the code by opening the small flap on the bottom of the
keypad, there are four wires that are placed in a connector block 0-9 one
wire one number.
Be careful not to damage the tamper switch.
It also had a separate power supply unit
