I would like to know if anyone has the engineers manual (not user guide) of
Scantronic 9452 House alarm?
Can I connect a phoneline to this alarm without any kind of adaptor?
Does anyone know any secret functions?
The reason to connect the alarm to the phoneline is to call my cellphone
when the alarm shoots!
I would know that is my alarm, 'cause I would be seeing my house phone
number on
my cellphone display...!
Please reply to this message if you have any information, or send me an
email

Thanks!

Call Scantronic on +44 (0) 1594 545400, and ask them for the engineer
manual.
>Can I connect a phoneline to this alarm without any kind of adaptor?
You will need a auto-dialler fitted to the alarm panel. The most compatible
unit is the Scantronic 660 speech dialler, which will fit inside. There is
a 6 core wiring harness that clips onto the main control pcb, and connects
to the inputs/outputs of the dialler.

I do not think Scantronic make this panel anymore. It is a easy alarm
control to work with and program. I do not know what you mean by secrets?,
there was a common glitch with a lot of the 9452's, whereby
if the mains supply is off, the green mains light will flash, but if you go
into engineer mode, it then changes back to a steady light, even with the
mains still off.

The 660 dialler will dial upto 4 different telephone numbers, and when
answered will play a prerecorded message, and be able to tell you whether it
is the intruder alarm that has activated, or a panic button.
