Anyone interested in smart VCR surveillance?

We are an electronic and software engineering company, specialising in video
motion detection technology for CCTV equipment manufacturers. We have
recently developed another highly integrated IC module, the VMD-19, that we
believe can be integrated well with you standard home VCR.

The VMD-19 is a small "Video Motion Detector" IC module that enables a VCR
to automatically record movement when a security camera is connected to its
video input. It will transform your ordinary VCR into an intelligent
motion-detecting surveillance device for just a fraction of the cost of a
new video motion detection VCR.

We believe the VMD-19 is the smartest, most efficient and most inexpensive
"Video Motion Detection" technology available. Its intelligent design
ensures a VCR automatically records only movements in the area under
surveillance.

The VMD-19 is specifically designed to be easily added to any existing VCR
with very minimal change to the current VCR design. It can even be
retrofitted to the VCR after it had been manufactured.

If anyone would like to find out more about the VMD-19 IC, please check our
website: http://www.farco.co.nz/products.html, or email me with your
requests.

Regards,

Malcolm

Anyone serious about new security video detection and recording markets is not
going to be looking at VCR applications but should be looking at DVR
applications. I am a little confused, are you looking at the home, endures
market or the professional security market for this device?
