dsc lockout backdoor

For all who want to be able to get into program into a dsc 1550,2550 ver
1.3 or earlier. if the panel is locked out. 1 power down system.2 go get a
motion det jumper and jumper the eeprom reset pins.power the system up.
3goto keypad hit *,8,0,0,0, you will here your normal in prog beeps. then
remove the jumper and now you are in program. this def works on vers 1.0
1.1 and on some 1.3 however i believe the back door has been changed since
most of you already know this trick.

Thanks for the good info!!!! it works!!!

Do you know how many 1550 I have changed to get an account that were
locked out, then my dick ass supplier charges me $25.00 if the board is
in lockout! I got smart and would cut one on the legs to the transistor
that controles the relay, no more relay and no clicking when a battery
in connected. You see I get free replacements on defective boards.

I think ADT is a very good company. I don't see anything wrong with our system. I guess though when you own your own company the other competition tends to think they're system or product is better... :) I like to think that, we in the home security business maintains a standard to protecting homeowners and business owners from crime.
