Having worked for ADT, I can tell you that the Focus 75 is basically a
hybrid Vista 20/40/50 control. It has 8 zones, expandable to 16, BUT
NO POLLING LOOP capabilty as ADT felt that it would compete with their
Focus 200 panel. It is a 2 partition panel and offers (I think) 99
user codes. As far as the keypads, they seem to be the same as the
6139 but I presume that the panel will only communicate via ADT's FSK
format. Hope this helps.
An ADT guy addressed this problem with respect to the Moose lookalike
panels sold by ADT. He said that they were equipped only to transmit
in ADT's old-fashioned Currier-Smith digital format. The ultimate
in anti-takeover technology: you can't buy the receiver, and you can't
program the panel.
That would be really stupid of ADT to do on a Vista/Focus, since it
would eliminate the advantages of Contact ID format. But it wouldn't
be the first really stupid thing ADT has ever done.
Best way to check might be to try and view the programming
(using the # key instead of the *) and copy the program out onto
a Vista 50 program sheet, and see if there are any weird entries.
The focus 75 is a ademco panel with firmware changes send ADTsia report
code in field *45,*46*32 and other changes in program keypads are the
same.
