I WANT TO REPLACE THE BATTERY AND CANNOT TAKE THE COVER OFF.
THERE ARE TWO SPACES ON THE BOTTOM TO USE A FLATHEAD IN TO
FLIP UP BUT IT IS ONLY WORKING ON ONE SIDE AND I AM AFRAID
I WILL BREAK THE COVER.

Very few can understand what your are saying
when you type so loud.

First, I'd suggest that you learn and use the proper protocol when typing a message. Using all capital letters means you are shouting as us.

Secondly, there are no batteries in the keypad.

Hi Jim,

I am "hard of hearing" and my ears hurt after reading that post. :-)

I can't really say how many customers called me up over the years
telling me they had the keypad off, but couldn't see where to put the
batteries.

Only ever had one customer tell me that the window contact beeping was
driving her crazy and I better come over right now and fix it.

I do not miss calls like that.
