The BSA might want to consider the same

The ACLU would sue - they support sexual depravity.

Are you still polluting this world? :-(

I wonder if sexual health education is the challenge of scouts because I
am a german scout and I have never heard of such activities in Germany.
Isn't health education a challenge of teachers and parents?

Certainly it should not be a primary focus of Scouts. But Scouts
should always emphasize morality. Hopefully it would augment the
eaching of the parents.

Aren't Scout Leaders teachers?

I thought of school teachers but in common, scout leaders are teachers,
too. The difference is that they organize trips, games and learn young
scouts techniques like reading maps, using particular knots, encoding
and decoding of morse code and how to sing scout songs. In my opinion
you can't compare this with biological education.

Scouting is education for life.

If you think it's just "reading maps, using particular knots, encoding
and decoding of morse code and how to sing scout songs" then you are
missing a great deal.

Scouts read maps as a way of learning to understand systems, codes,
communication, environment , history, geography, sociology, ...
They use knots as a way of learning teamwork, history, social skills,
manual dexterity..
The use morse as a code, coummunication, language, memory training...
They sing songs as history, communication , team building, social skills,
group interaction.

Never mistake the aim for the method.

Then my old scouting group failed in educational purpose.

If so, you need a bath - quick. You stink.

Morality? Which "morality" and which "god" ? If anything and
everything is morality and god, it's meaningless.

The problem with the Boy Scouts of America is that by requiring ANY
higher power worship, a scout could worship a rotten head of cabbage
and be acceptable. So by even touching the subject, the BSA destroys
all meaning OF the subject.

A Satanist could claim they worship a higher power and have a
morality.

The BSA should teach scoutcraft and get out of the phony morality
business.

With their membership going down like the Titanic and Americans
avoiding the BSA like it was the KKK, they will either change or die.
