I only purchased a used ET4 a couple of days ago and this is what I've
done:
I put diesel instead of unleaded to fill the tank!
Of course I didn't realize what I was doing but I was quickly struck
by the realization when the engine stopped 100meters later. What
should I do?????
Well!
I'd try siphoning out the diesel, refill with gas and see if it will
clear itself. It might take a while.
Failing that you'll have to clear the entire fuel system (or have the
shop do it for you).

Thanks for the tip. I'll do that. But you wouldn't think a permanent
damage could have happened?
Nope. Diesel fires by compression only but is an amalgam of oil and some
other petrochemicals. There is nothing there that will damage the metal
in your engine. It'll smoke like billyo when it does fire up, but should
clear up when neat petrol gets through.
Best of luck!

I don't think that just replacing the Deisel fuel with Gasoline
will
work as thew deisel is more oil, and has probably fouled the spakplug
keeping it from firing
Today I had the time to have a look on how to drain the fuel tank. I
found the fuel tap alright but I am not sure how to open it up in
order to drain it. Also, one cannot help noticing that it has two
outlets connected to two pipes, apparently one for the fuel and aI
assume the other one is for the vacuum leading to the carbyrator.
What should the procedure be? Should I somehow take the fuel tap off
or should I disconnect the fuel pipe instead?

You can use a vacuum bulb (Like a turkey baster) to apply vacuum so the gas
will flow from the fuel lock/Tap.
i dunno if a turkey baster will give adequate suction to open the valve.
a hand-held vacuum pump would work perfectly. as for which line is
which, the vacuum one will be dry inside and lead to the manifold. the
fuel one will be wet, smell like diesel, and lead to the carb body. id
drain it, release the vacuum, put a half gallon of gas in, swish it
around by bouncing the scooter, and drain again.
CLEAN UP YOUR SCOOTER'S FUEL AND CLEAN UP YOUR ACT. You may want to go
green. I sold both my 4 cycle scooters. Yes I went some what green for
now till July. Then I get rid of my 2 cycle. And all has been replaced
by E bicycle and pedal power. When I move to the flat lands of
Florida.
