I have the chance to buy a 1987 Honda CH150 ELITE 150

The scooter is in very good condition and has only 3,100 miles. I have seen
it since it was new and it has stayed under a car port and used to travel
from building to building at a government facility.

Could anyone give me an approximate value in US dollars and some brief
comments on the quality of the scooter? The seller wants $825

Thanks in advance.

I just finished researching the price on an '87 Honda Elite 150. If in
very good condition anything under $1000 can be a good buy. ChrisR

The only problem with the blue book value is it doesn't take into account
supply/demand. I think there has been a sort of renaissance with the idea of
driving a scooter, and when the market demands rise, so does the price.

Thanks for the responses. I have enough information to make my decision
now.

Here in California, I sold a slightly beat up (but good running) 150 for $650,
and a
perfect one for $1000. They sell well in San Francisco. Prices are higher in
the
Summer, FWIW. I've also sold two beat up Elite 150 Deluxe's for $500 each.
