Jin Cheng Knight (JC 50 Q-8) owners anywhere?

Hi,
I know that the Knight is technically not a "scooter", yet it uses the
same 49cc 4 stroke Honda based 'moped' engine. You probably know it
from the Honda Dax 50 (70) and Monkey, the Pandas etc.
In case you don't know what I am talking about, here's a link to some

Apparently there are very few of this Honda Magna look alikes out
there on the road. They seem to be sold world wide, I saw references
for NL, DK, D, even PL and here in the U.S.A.

Is any other owner of a Jin Cheng Knight reading this group?
I'd like to get in contact with them, to exchange thoughts, ideas and
also support in case of any trouble.

I am very happy with this mini motor cycle, after some initial trouble
when it was shipped damaged to my home. I now use it to commute to
work frequently. While not very strong (especially in altitudes above
5000ft) it can reach about 45mph and will get 90 miles per gallon,
ideal in these times of ever increasing gas prices.
Plus it gets more looks in parking lots than many 'hogs', since no one
seems to ever have seen one of them. Not that I need the attention,
but it is fun to see people smile and ask if it is still 'on milk'
8-)

So where are the "Knight Riders"?

Hey I have an 05 model of it and it does but I'm having problems with it holding anything over 30mph not to mention I can't find any replacement parts. Other than that I love this little bike.

hi from john in the UK.just been reading the sites info on scooters at 65 i like what i have read.checkin the dates 2005.someones keeping this page open.in the 60/70 i was a 50cc lad paid £20 for sized c100. i left home lived with my step-brother for 6 months.went back home on the bike.from that date never stop fixing them,i have two scooters. they wear scrap dumped in a dyke for some years.so they wear feeb is, the two-stroke one is playing up. starts ok then peters out leave for 5 minutes starts revs high then dies.Oberst ley the auto chock is working. and it's china carb. i rip the carb of i blow it out making sure the jets are clean, the old carb work with a modified chock,so mite just pop the carb. as i have renewed the top end.no bleeding at the crank seals .lets no if you're still popping along on your scooter. 17.46pm 22/10/2018

I got a jincheng knight jc50q-8 and i am having a hard time getting it registered due to it only has 13 numbers/letters for the vin # and it is suppose to have 17. Do u have any advice on this and do u still own yours. E-mail me if u have a response at ang3l...@yahoo.com please. Thanks,

I just purchased the JC50q8 and this is the first page I've been able to find any info on them. If anyone has better sources, info, etc. please let me know!
