Real speed will be just short of 80mph on a standard 22hp runner.
Indicated speed will be anything up to 15mph above that.
The often misquoted figure is the 0-60 time.
Gilera used a (intentionally misleading?) 0-60 METRES time of 5.5 seconds in
one of their brochures but as the used M as an abbreviation you often hear
them described as much quicker than they actually are.
True 0-60 is around 9.5 seconds IIRC.
The 4 stroke 180's will be a bit slower on both figures but not much.
