I don't think I've ever seen a 2 tone combo on a small frame that I thought
looked good. Hopefully someone has pics to show me other wise. I think it is
too angular, there isn't a separation between the body and cowls. I hope
you find one though and post how it turns out, I'm going to paint one over
the winter and can't decide what color.

Too garish for my eyes! I'd suggest something along the pastel lines
if you're gonna be doing a two-tone job on your scoot. The colours
should be complimentary ....... unless you're trying to make a
statement :-)

Good luck.

Agreed. If you go with a stark color like red, the only ones to match would be
white or black, IMO. I knew somebody with a Honda Shadow 1100 that was green
and ivory. That was a beautiful combination because the green wasn't overly
dark or too pale. Visit a few Jap dealers and look at some of their cruisers
for some more ideas. If you're really leaning toward red, maybe make the
accents the darker color and the body ivory?
Ivory looks really good. If you just can't decide on a two-tone scheme, paint
the entire bike ivory!

I know that this is pure blasphemy, but I got my two tone colour scheme from the
local Harley dealer, by going and having a look on the showroom floor (thats
where all the oil is ). I know, I know but you gotta admit that some of these
machines look pretty snazzy (colour wise). I did mine up in Robin egg blue and
cream with a skinny red strip between the two colours. I think it looks good,
now if I could only sort out some of the smaller problems I would be a happy
camper.
Sorry I don't have any pics yet.

Hmm . . . maybe the colors of your local NFL football team? Might generate
a few more friendly waves . . .
