i have a 1999 yamaha zuma cw50L

i was wondering about fuel to oil ratio is i wanted to
mix my own gas instead of useing the oil injector (more reliable) or so ive
been told
what would be the proper ratio if any one happens to know

Hey,Tim!You can hardly go wrong by disconnecting the
oil-injection,plugging the hole,and pre-mixing at 40:1 with a good
2-cycle Synthetic or synthetic blend(available pretty cheap at
Wal-Mart).I have never had a problem with Pennzoil full synthetic or
synthetic blend. But the most important thing is to stay at 40:1 for
excellent lubrication.Okay? don-ohio

hey don AGH well i got it set 32:1 now considerbly less smoke that with the
oil injector enabled

a new spark plug does not appear to have as much carbon build up on it as
the prior one (used with oil injector enabled)

ill keep a eye on it though 32:1 according to the oil can is more oil then
40:1 ratio

it smokes considerably less now from the tail pipe

technician mentioned it should smoke a little from the exhaust but not as
much as it was with the oil injector enabled

Also,remember.Tim that Oil-injection type
oil is different from pre-mix type(generally less body to the injector
type)and you should always use only the non-injector oil to pre-mix
with,to get a proper 40:1 or thereabouts.Don
