I have just acquired two of these scoots (though one is an Alstate
Compact and has been used for parts to keep the other on the road). It
(the non Alstate) is mostly complete minus a spark plug (size?) and
Chain. I don't know anything about these bikes. If anyone knows
anything about these bikes, please reply the model numbers on the info
plates are below...

The rear seat reads "Sie Feg"

Model Numbers:
810.94382
810.94390 (Alstate Compact)

Thanks
Mike

Guess what, basd on the model #'s posted, those are both Allstate Compacts
manufactured for Sears and Simpson Sears in Canada form 1960 to 1962 but
sold through the Sears catalog until about 1966 since they had them in
stock.. It is a 59cc two stroke engine with a 3-speed foot operated
transmission. It runs a Bing 16mm carb that often has trouble with the
float filling up with gas due to wear. Do not use the gas to oil mixture
shown on the fuel tank sticker or on the filler cup inside the gas cap. Use
about a 32 to 1 mixture and it will run fine. I have a Champion L86C plug
in mine and it is a first kick starter. If you want more information my
email adress is: tp...@ibm.net
