So, Pertti, you think that only creationism should be taught?
> Why science (creationism ) is not allowed to
> teach ?
Because it cannot be tested. There is no basis upon which to form
other studies. If you do, then you find that you can use those
techiniques to make reasonable projections back before "creation". So
you end up without creationism, or at least a 6000 year old Universe.
> What universities have to fear in science ?
Nothing, because science can be made fully self-consistent,
eventually.
> Why science ( creationism ) is feared ?
Several reasons. It obviates any reason for trying to understand
Nature. Because She is the way God made her, and trying to change Her
is a sin.

Except that *you* do not accept this.

But churches provide both.

Let's spam crap to unrelated newsgroups. No wait, let's don't.

Humbogue? Quaint! I wonder if that's how Scrooge spelt it?

Try Oral Roberts University.
Double-A
At least I evolved enough intelligence to spell "humbug".

No worries, the Big Bang is straight out of the biblical book of Genesis,
eh?

Ronnie, if you don't already get the point, no amount of explaining will
bring it home for you.
Here's a hint:
"LET THERE BE LIGHT" = "BIG BANG"
Different words, same fable.

How big of a bang in terms of visible and invisible photons was
Sirius(B) to our terrestrial environment?
How many million years ago did this local "LET THERE BE LIGHT" =
"BIG BANG" take place, and for how long (start to finish) did it last?

Genesis chapter 1:
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the
face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the
waters.
3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light
from the darkness.
5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And
the evening and the morning were the first day.
Wow. He did all that on the "first day"! I would call that a
"Bang"! Maybe it was during the "inflationary period" so he could get
things done FTL!

Genesis chapter 1:
Double-A
===============================================
"And God saw the light" means He invented the lens, "that it was
good" means it had no spherical aberration or colour fringing.
"God divided the light from the darkness" means He invented the
telescope tube (but it wasn't a very good one or we'd be told it was).
"And the light leaks He called Dusk" somehow got left out.
While I had to check in the dusty book I have, it's more like,....
"in the beginning God created the heaven's and the earth"
And while the details are lacking, it still implies there was nothing, then
suddenly EVERYTHING.
Sound familiar ?
Now if the silly scientists would say the universe always was, and had no
beginning.
Do you think the Church book people would have accepted that without a
fight ?
Look at the fun and games that went on just about how old the earth actually
was.
No "bang" there, Bradster, the B star got big and red and then dwarfed out!
Slight possibility it could SN1a when the A star expands to red giant!
B's pretty far away from A, though, so that's a longshot!

There was an explosive event near 14 billion years ago!
They happen from time to time.
The universe was already here when it happened, though!
It's been here forever, you know!

Are you're saying that red supergiants don't go through any helium

Of course they CAN!

Nop, the Big Bang theory doesn't say that. It says that there was not a
before. Time begins with big bang, so you what it implicitly states is that
Universe always existed. There was no time when universe didn't exist.

They can fight what they want. Reality won't change because of that.
Quite right, and the book of Daniel tells us that knowledge will
increase at the end of the age. That has happened with gusto.
I'm talking about Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words,
and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and
fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Gerald L. Schroeder wrote a book, The Science of God, IBSN
0-7679-0303-X, on this subject. It was copyrighted in 1997, but is
still very much in line with our knowledge. It is worth reading if one
has a desire to broaden their understanding on these matters.

So whatever truly big helium flashover is optional, because?
How otherwise are white dwarfs created?
