"Were" what? If your answer is "tree shrews"
then: Yes. But if your answer is "were dancing
the Charlston" then you had better go back and
check those silent movies: Some of those dinos
were nothing more than silly putty's ancestors.
However, I did "saw" a dinosaur the other day
(no, smarty pants, not in a museum)... on tv
announcing a winner at the Golden Globes Awards.

You have to remember that there are a LOT
of humans who are just as much boneheads as
were the dinosaurs! And, therefore, it's very
difficult to tell boneheads from boneheads.
