Bell Card Hacks?

Is there any information out there for hacking a Bell Expressvu 2700 or
3100 receiver? Both of these still have cards in them, presumably pre-Nagra
3. I'm not interested in an IKS system.
I should mention that I already have a legitimate Bell subscription. The
reason I'm asking this question is because I acquired these two perfectly
good receivers from someones garbage, and I'd like to add one of them to my
existing setup. I tried getting Bell to activate them but they would not,
saying that I needed to contact the previous owner, and have that person
contact Bell to transfer ownership. Since they would not tell me the
previous owner, and I have no idea where these came from, there's no chance
of that happening. The whole thing is set up to force me to buy a new
receiver from Bell, and I refuse to give in to this shamelessly greedy
scheme.

Rumored there is away to change the box ID and card numbers to match
your sub box &card then,without the phoneline attached just order all
you want via the remote then wipe the ppv resetting it to $500.00 ?
