Ok , sky dish , input in , great picture all is well :-)

Upstairs I have small flatscreen TV , with digital scanner
built withihn the unit

Ok the extension tv cable i have from downstairs to upstairs
i *thought* would be ideal for attaching to RF output
at back of sky box , for getting somekind of tv channel upstairs
even is its simply a reopeat of downstairs channel

Anyways , zilch , zero , nadda , cant find any channel output
at all

SO these things of back of sky with
RF output 1
RF output 2

what do they do ? if they push out a signal
where can iot now be found on TV spectrum
within the digital band or analogue , common
sense says it should be analogue , if so roughly please
where in the spec should it be

ANy ideas why im picking up zilch

It is an analogue output in the UHF band (Ch21-69 )can be set up using a
hidden menu. http://www.digitalsat.co.uk/skyinstallersmenu.html refers.

It is possible that the channel is set to one inm use in your area
(analogue or digital) so you need to change it to a clean channel.

You may be trying to put an analog signal from the Sky box into an
all-digital TV! If not, you need to ensure that the TV is looking at the
same channel that the box emits (e.g. ch.36)

Refreshing frankness, but then we have all made mistakes like this...
