Silvercrest SL65, no 7 day EPG

On my recently purchased Silvercrest SL65, I have been trying to get the
7 day EPG (Electronic Program Guide) to work but to no avail. I have
tried it on Astra 28, and other satellites, but all I get is the 'now
and next' information. When I press the EPG key I get a menu appear
which has the now and next info, and at the bottom an option to press 1
for schedule, when I press this I get a 'Schedule' menu which just shows
a grid with the date at the top, and options at the bottom, when I press
OK for 'Detail' I get another menu which just states 'No event info'.
The box says it has the 7 day EPG and the instruction book explains how
to use it (as above) but I can't find it, is there something I have not
done in setting it up, or is it missing from this model?

On 28E Sky and FreeSat both use proprietary s/w for their EPGs.
It isn't DVB compliant so you will only see the Now/Next which
is in standard DVB format.

Some of the European channels do have a DVB format EPG
- try ARD (das Erste) and ZDF at 19E
