SatCom Africa is the largest conference and exhibition focused solely on the African satellite communications market. SatCom Africa brings together end-users and suppliers of satellite technology to explore new revenue streams and key technologies.
NewSat is set to launch Australia’s first commercial Ka-band satellite, providing high-powered Ka-band capacity over Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Jabiru-1 will provide "new" capacity to these regions, offering a range of multi-spot, regional and steerable beam options. The fleet of Jabiru satellites will provide "raw" capacity and flexible payloads to assist with resource and government projects throughout Africa.
Steve Rich will be attending SatCom Africa and will be available for discussions on our current ground services and the Jabiru Satellite Program’s fleet of Ka-band satellites.
