I do too and never get any notifications-- they must like you. I usually
find out about the new maps here.

The device is registered with them and have my email address. I don't
really see anyplace to specifically request email notification.

I guess I assumed good customer service would include notifying folks
who've paid you a lot of money in advance ;-)

Log in to "myGarmin" and click on the "myAccount" link at the top of the
page. You should then see a link to "Manage E-mail Notifications".

Thanks, I checked and email notification is selected so I must have been
there before. Maybe better look at the spam filters in the account I use
for product registrations.

Too damned many registrations, passwords, overly complicated vendor
websites, etc. Where's Ned Ludd when you really need him ;-)

Yes, quite. I'm not a Luddite but I think Garmin has produced one of the
worst examples of over-complicated and confusing websites I know.
