hi all,
I connected nuvi 850 to my laptop. I need linux software which whould
show my current location. could anyone recommend?

Hi
You need to use gpsd or gpsbabel. I have a 260w and setting it into the
debug mode before connecting via USB will enable the nema data output
as well as charging the device. Couple that with something like
tangogps should get you going.
