Help with Beanbag

I just bought a Novi 350 and I also ordered a beanbag mount Portable
friction mount (beanbag only) 010-10306-00.

I don't see how do I attach the beanbag to my Novi 350. The suction cup
mount does not seem to fit in the bean bag cup receptor.... am I missing a
part? What part?

The platform which the Nuvi attaches to on your suction cup mount detaches
from the suction cup mounting arm. You pull it off the ball-end of that arm
and push it on to the ball-end of the beanbag mount arm.

It's easier to do than to describe. My disappointment with it is that it
doesn't come with either an extra platform nor an extra power cord, so you
don't end up with two complete mounts for two cars out of the deal.

My beanbag does not have an arm. It is just a beanbag with a slide to put
an arm on to it.

What arm do I need to buy?

You may have purchased the wrong item. The beanbag with the arm is Garmin
item 010-10908-00. The beanbag without the arm that you described is item
010-10306-00. You would be indeed missing the arm which snaps into the base.
You could try exchanging that for the other, calling Garmin to see if they'd
take pity on you and just send you an arm, or buy the automotive mount kit
010-10723-04 which would contain the arm and an adhesive base for the dash
(which you don't need).
