Greetings,

What model of Garmin GPS Auto comes with free lifetime map up dates?

Thanks in advance for your help and support.

All of them once you pay for it.

Any idea if there's a time limit on taking up the 'lifetime update'
option ?

So far I've only used the 'free update on a new unit' and haven't
actually paid for an update. It'll certainly work out cheaper than
what it cost me to update my old c330 every year.

Doesn't look as if there's a time limit from the
date of purchase.

As I have v.2010.2 and I'm told, 'No available updates found'
I'll wait until there's a map upgrade available.

Thanks for the response.

2010.3 is available but, I suspect, you're seeing the "No available updates
found" because you'd have to enroll in the Numaps Lifetime program.

Keep in mind that the Garmin web site isn't the only place to purchase the
lifetime maps. For example, TVNAV and, IIRC, Amazon have them for less.

I wish Garmin would just list the CURRENT map updates by device...
https://my.garmin.com/maps/updates.htm?in=true&ni=other&deviceType=other
and
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=36445&pvID=37746

vs having to grab and connect your GPS or scribble down the serial number,
just to see what version is current.....

And - the actual sub-version available is not really listed anyway...

Yes...
The whole update process is awkwardly handled on the website.
For instance, they emailed me that there was a problem with my recently
purchased City Navigator Mexico map.
They said I was entitled to a free download of the new corrected version.
I signed in , but there was nothing to suggest that
a) the expired link which expired on Nov. 2 (it said that) was now hot
b) that it was indeed the newer version--and not a reload of the old one.
No ver. numbers..nuttin

Same with CNNA 2010.3
Had no idea it was out there!

Thanks for this information. I went to the Garmin site and read about nuMaps
Lifetime updates and they gave caution about the unit having enough memory.
I there is not enough memory then only a partial map update will be loaded.

I have a nuvi 750 (which has been discontinued) and I would like to know how
large of a memory card the nuvi 750 can hold to get all of the map updates
loaded on my unit?

Thanks in advance for your comments, help and support.
