Do I have a problem? All else is perfectly normal on this outstanding unit.
I'm assuming the gray lines are boundaries of the various "maps" installed
with CNNA, but why the lines? Is there any way to get rid of them and STILL
keep all useful data, like city names, gas stations, other POI's, etc?
Thanks.

Thanks Nick. I won't worry any more! But......... how do you "turn some
tiles off?" Won't that take away a whole map segment which is enclosed
within that tile? IOW, if I turn the tile off to get rid of the grid lines
for the Wash DC area that I'm using, won't I lose what I want to see? I
just don't understand the need for the grid lines.

I think it's not a *need* so much as an artifact of the system. In my
Legend Hcx, the grid lines don't appear until I zoom out to an
altitude of 20 miles. At that scale, there is no appreciable detail at
all; I only start getting useful detail at 0.8 miles altitude & closer.

Thanks. So according to your message, I'm not the only one with those grid
lines. That's what I wanted to see. I suppose I never noticed them before
is that I used the Vista at zoom levels of less than 2 miles. Only when I
flew from NY to FL did I notice them, at a high zoom range. I get it now.
