Hello All,

There is no Internet Satellite Systems Inc., according to Bennie, the
desk clerk at Howard Johnson in Dallas.

I went to to Dallas today to visit Internet Satellite Systems and get a
look at their merchandise.

This is the sorriest looking Howard Johnson's I've ever seen in my life.
I would not have believed a HoJo could be this bad, anywhere. It looks
like a slum! Some sections are vacant. The dinning room and some others
are not just vacant, the windows are bashed out. Rusty, peeling and
rotting. A mess. Weeds in the parking lot. Pad locks on some doors. Some
rooms are apparently rented and old junky cars are parked outside, along
with junk and some drying laundry. A coke machine in a locked chain link
fence enclosure?

In fact the lobby had pad locks on their doors too. Glass doors with
metal frames and locks and padlocks to boot. Carpets rolled up and
furniture strewn around. Tape on cracked windows. A sign said "Go to
window ->" I looked for and ..... A thick piece of glass with a waist
high counter at the bottom and 2"x4" slot to pass money and talk through.
AT A HOJO!

I stood in the weather and talked thru the hole. I talked to a Pakistan /
India / Bangladesh 'area' fellow (age: 30 to 40 years) and asked for
Internet Satellite Systems Inc. "Who?" I repeated it. "Whoooo?" Then I
asked if this is 7201 Ferguson Road. "Yes" Then I told him this is also
the address for Internet Satellite Systems Inc. "Oh! You mean Harick?" I
told, yes I mean Harick. I want to see him and I want to buy the PCI card
satellite setup. I have my checkbook here and also showed him I had the
cash too.

Bennie said that Harick was not there. (I'll cut this down some.) There
is no office there. There is no merchandise there. Harick only stays
there from time to time when he's in Dallas. He lives out of town. Way
out of town. Way way out of town. Where the uplink is? Bennie says
what's that? The uplink in Charlotte North Carolina? ;) Bennie says
that's where Harick lives! (Bull Spit!) Charleston, South Carolina?
"Yes, that's where the lives!" (Buuuull Spit!)

I explained the same telephone numbers and by the way what is your name?
He said it was Bennie. I asked why he didn't know more when he also
answers the phone for Internet Satellite Systems Inc. as well as Andy and
Batel and/or Patel. (We've both got our heads down on this counter trying
to talk through this 2x4 hole in the glass;)

Then Bennie says "Harick said for you to Come here!??" I told him about
the web page again and that I had talked to Harick and I came here for
the merchandise and I want it now. He looked astonished. "Harick said for
you to Come here!??" "Harick said for you to Come here!??" "Harick said
for you to Come here!??" I told him no, talked about it and that I was
passing this way and I wanted to take care of it now if I could. So bring
it out, please and I'll buy it! Then we went through all the "Harick said
for you to Come here!??" again and there is no Internet Satellite
Systems.

When will Harick be back again? Bennie says in two weeks, maybe. He isn't
very regular. I was telling him I didn't like the web page saying there
was a company with this merchandise at this address when there is not and
.... I let the wind blow by wind breaker open when we were down nose to
nose and he saw the police type hand held radio. (those big black 5 watt
suckers in the leather scabbards on the wide belt, types) I had it on a
shoulder holster with the PTT button taped down on full transmit.
(Someone was in my suburban listening too.)

Bennie jumped backwards about 6 feet, threw his hands in the air and
repeated everything in Urdo (?) at least once, pointing at me and
pointing to the suburban (to me and the suburban over and over) and I
stuck my head down to the slot and told him I was (lying of course) going
to rip the doors off this place and you're going with the INS unless you
get your nose down here to this hole in the glass and explain all of this
again and you tell me the truth, now.

I got all the same stuff again. In Urdo (?) and English mixed. Rather
excited fellow. Then "There is not a Internet Satellite Systems at all!
There is no Internet Satellite Systems Inc.
There is no merchandise.
There is no uplink.

I left.

There in buyer, now, named Dave.
