It s a sad, but true. Four days ago our Grand Magister Blackwood shot
himself in his Detroit apartment. Ambulance came to late. Tom
Raspotnik aka Grand Magister Blackwood was pronounced dead on
arrival.

The suicide was brought on by so many years of people making fun of
him for doing something he loved and cared for. Its sad to know that
there are so many insensative people out there who won t let a man
alone to follow his destiny.

For those of you who don t know me, I m the Vice President of The
Temples of Satan.

The Grand Council and I met solemnly yesterday to speak about the
future of our Temples without our Grand Magister. This was his pet
project which he put so much time and soul into.

Sadly we have decided to dissolve the Temples of Satan as an
organization; so it may retire in peace along with its creator.

Be in known henceforth, on behalf of myself, Vice President Grand
Magistress Merciewood, and the Grand Council of the Temples of Satan,
that the organization formally known as The Temples of Satan; founded
by The Grand Magister Blackwood is duly dissolved and retired and
disbanded.

We ask that all our members please respect our solemn decision and act
accordingly, in the name of our Lord and Master Satan.

Maybe you're right, Louis. At least the Catholics don't require
adherents to have a sense of humor! You don't have to convert to dig
their music, anyway. Even a godless commie like Tani Jantsang feels
it won't damage her cred to tear up over AVE MARIA.

What makes you think Blackwood is faking his own death? Did the ONA
finally put the word out that he would have to take the consequences
for his dishonorable behavior toward them, and he thought it would be
easier to go in his own way? I'd have been wary of those escorts of
his if I were Blackwood.

I find folks like Blackwood, while they may be self-destructive, tend
to sublimate their suicidal tendencies. A pistol is far too
straightforward for such a fellow. Blackwood's style seems more
aligned with suicide by untreated chlamydia, or perhaps death by
clogged arteries, brought on by 30 years of face-stuffing.
