The Writings of The Island Story Teller - 2. Who Is The Island Story Teller?

I am The Island Story Teller.

I live on an island off the northwest coast of North America. I live amongst
ancient rainforest, ocean, mountains, islands, and wildlife; eagles, whales,
porpoise, cougar and bear. The climate is gentle, the air is pure, the water
is sweet, and the voice of the spirit of the Earth is loud for those who
listen.

I am a father. I am a writer and musician. And I would tell our story from
my island.

I believe there is a story of mankind that is complete in every way and yet
it remains untold.

I believe that each soul holds a sentence, paragraph or chapter of our
story, but none holds the entirety.

I believe that each of us may access our part of the story by clear
thinking.

I believe that clear thinking is inhibited by the background noise of the
World.

I believe we can listen through that noise to clear our soul and assess our
condition.

I believe that by assembling a community of like-thinking souls who are
striving for clear thought, we may share our spirit and together write our
story.

I believe that as the story unfolds, and our community grows, we will
improve our condition and begin to achieve peace and harmony.

I have condensed these things into a mission statement for our community,
posted on our forum. Please read it.
