Yes - it depends when you start, where you go, how much of a hurry you are
in, what you are sailing.
For food you can fish for free, and a decent waterstill would not go amiss.
Good luck.

where do you want to sail and what kind of boat?
if it is a 35 till 40 foot boat you can count for about 125 miles a 24 hr
but if it is a catamaran it's much faster.
almost every sailer is a budget sailer, so don't go in to a harbour and buy
but ask first other sailers they will tell you where to buy the good stuff
for the best prices.
you can make your own food and preserve it for months. meat vegetables and
every thing.
buy your selve a high pressure pan, you can cok your food and sing less gas
and even make bread in it.
have a nice trip
by the way at these distances you're talking about 1080 miles so it will
take about 9 days and nights of sailing

Be careful in your judgments of time and distance. The distance is actually
1,093nm and no-one can give a useful estimate of you boat speed without knowing
the boat, sailor's abilities, conditions including currents and the navigation
limitations of the trip.

If you would like some help you need to tell me lots of details about
everything and then make the judgment for yourself I give you my input (really,
the more input the better and still it's up to you). My Expertise is from
central California South to Columbia, East to the Wind wards and North again to
N. Carolina. The Hawaiian Islands and South China Sea. Outside of those areas
my information will be dated and close to worthless.

Let me know if I can help

I usually figure an average of 100-125 nm per day. It's usually over than that, but I am happy to get in earlier than later.
