Oh my Gawd but isn't there ever a flood of the above around here!

For example, Skip Gundlach is a disgraceful, dangerous, ignorant, lying
wannabe. Ole Thom Stewart is a never-was has-been. Capt. Joe Butcher and his
boyfriend, Capt. Jonathan E.Gaynz (self-professed illegal recreational drug
abuser, well-known netKKKop and all around loser) are never-were's and
faggot butt-buddies at the same time. The premiere has-been is Brucie-boy at
the Bangkok dock - yet another example of the gay persuasion (has a lady-boy
habit). And trawler boy, Doug King, is likely also of their Satanic,
mud-packing ilk.

I hesitate to state the following but an educated guess places JimC, Salty
Dog, Roger Long, Lady Pilot, Jere Lull, Jack Halliday, Gregory Hall, Marty,
Blondie, Anonymous, Bloody Horvath, John Cairns, Bob Crantz, Edgar and Bluto
in the pretender category. I state this because they have accomplished
nothing of note but they talk a good game and seem to have an elementary
school education. Some say Lady Pilot and Blondie might be socks of
themselves but I disagree. Blondie seems to have sex-appeal while Lady Pilot
exudes masculinity. I think Lady Pilot is a sock of Bob Crantz or Bertie the
Bunyip.

Of course, Dave is the scumbag, slip-and-fall lawyer. Dave wouldn't know a
boat if he tripped over one but he can chase an ambulance on foot at sixty
miles per hour. Ozone, on the other hand, fits in none of the above because
he's a master of the Tasman Sea - a notable accomplishment - especially
considering he's survived those rickety, turtle-turning and unseaworthy
multihulls. I'd not be wrong if I said he's the only real sailor other than
myself this group has the good fortune to encompass. Diametrically opposed
is the pretender catamaran driver, Jeff Morris. I heard he doesn't post
anymore because he was lost at ICW. His capsized catamaran, Loki, was found
adrift in the Dismal Swamp canal.

And then there's Scotty! What can I say about Scotty other than he's an
inbred, hillbilly, trailer park trash loser without a clue and a life-long
camp follower of the very worst example of pre-humanity simianhood
imaginable - Capt. Rob, the fat-boy wannabe, never-was, pretender, would-be
faggot, stay-at-home mom, himself.

But one should count one's blessings. The worthless, osteoporotic,
hypocrite, lying, cheating, Catholic, net-nanny, netKKKopping, post
menopausal, undesirable, smelly, pseudo female Katysails, is, of course, a
wannabe and she is missed by nobody. Her very absence makes the group
bearable. May she live long and suffer severe pain the whole time. Lady
Sailor is a blessedly, mostly absent, never-was. (She arrived in the South
Seas via airplane purchasing the ticket with money stolen from a former
boyfriend.) Haggie is a no-show and we are all thankful for that blessing.
But, should she return, she would be placed in the upper echelon of the
wannabe category as she and her worthless loser never-was of a hubby are
going on twenty years fixing up a boat that will never leave the dock. (The
ultimate pretenders!)

How do I know all this? Who am I to judge these people? The answer to that
is simple. I am Wilbur Hubbard. I am a real sailor. You can think of me as
Joshua Slocum re-incarnated. I see the world as it is. I am grounded in
reality.I am the best. Simply the best. Going 'round is my avocation.
Nobody's better at it.

I make no bones about being a weekend warrior. I'm too young to retire
quite yet.

But we have spent a *minimum* of 60 days away from our dock for the
last 15 seasons. Our area's sailing season is (generously) 180 days, so
we are out or on the move one third of our available days.

Few long distance cruisers move as often as we do.

And I have yet to hear where Wilbur has cruised.

All this shows is that, in 2004, one Jonathan Ganz *or* the admin he left the
password with, renewed, or updated some other detail of, the domain name. It
does not follow that that Jonathon Ganz is now, or has been since, associated
with that organisation.

And only someone hiding behind an anonymous ID, cross-posting (presumably to
stir things up) seems to be bothered by this. Your anonymity destroys your

The good Captain tasked me with putting the final touches on the death knell

meantime Capt. JG is busy boring everybody to death. If anybody can kill a

As for still carrying some torch I'm not sure what you're talking about.
What I'm going on about is what the Good Captain told me about your el gordo
girlfriend (wife?) and how she took some other poor merchant mariner (I
think his name was Mike, too) to the cleaners. Sort of emptied out the joint
bank account while he was out to sea on duty. Be careful. Since she has a
proven record of theivery perhaps you should not consider yourself immune.
Don't teach her too much about how to single hand your boat. You might just
get back to the dock some day and find it gone. Off she will be going,
cruising with a new, younger, fitter, more handsome boyfriend with her purse
stuffed full of money from YOUR bank account. If this should eventuate
consider it a small price to pay for your freedom from such an evil woman.
