How much is it worth? The following item is one of four that
belonged to Clipper Ship Captain, Clifton Curtis. For clarity I
am listing each item in a separate e-mail.
Item #4 is a sextant for celestial navigation. On the sextant's
back, the number 128 is stamped. The wooden case has "J. D.
Blanchard" stamped in two places inside. Also inside the box are
several paper labels. The labels contain the following
information. James Rahill's Patent (followed by a symbol of a
crown), Frodsham and Keen, 9. St. George's Crescent, LIVERPOOL,
17 South Castle Street near Lord Street. Louis Weule Company, 106
Steuart Street, San Francisco [1909] [255]. Can someone give me
and idea of what this is worth?
Thanks, Cliff, 73547...@compuserve.com
