It's a small inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. You can
plug your transformer into it and watch television.
You may want to check and see if your cable is old or if you can use a
higher gain antenna. What kind of TV antenna do you have?

It sounds like you have a remote amp that is powered through coax and
not from a seperate feed. Does singal pass through power supply? If
not you could just simply get a 12 volt lighter plug with a pig tail
and splice pig tail in to a short piece of coax that has a connector
on it and try to make it look "pretty. You are not going to find a 12
to coax adaptor most likely so do not worry yourself looking for one.
