> Hi Larry,
I was thinking of going there this year also as it did look like kid
friendly place but friends of ours who went last year did not give it
that good of a review. I beleive they said the sites are not that great
and there is not enough bathrooms or you have to walk a long ways to
them. I guess each person has their own ideas about what they do and do
not like so it you end up going please let me know how you liked it. We
have only started camping in the last year and what I have found is the
more activities the more money the sites cost so we have been
alternating every 2 to 3 weeks on long weekends. Most of the time my
kids just swim and ride their bikes anyway so the extra money is
usually wasted. I don't know about you but even when we are camping in
a place that has tons of things to do my kids still get bored and are
stuck to us like glue. Ages 13,9,3. I don't know what it is about kids
these days but they can't find anything to do by them selves. This
weekend it is Moose Hillock in Warren. My kids loved this place last
year.No activities but a water slide into the pool, nice playground,
small rec room and nice sites. I think is was you who mentioned Kings
and Queens court in Maine(Is only abuot 30 minutes from the Seacoast of
NH). I am definately going to try this place out but I have already
scheduled this years trips so I will have to wait until next year.
Take care
