Yellow--Left Turn Signal & stop lamp
Green-- Right Turn Signal & stop lamp
Brown-- Running (Tail lamp) and side markers
I think your truck has common lamps for stop and turn signal, if so you
should have no problem. If you have SEPERATE lamps for stop and turn
signals, you will have to add a little diode device, usually $ 10 to $20
so that you can operate the lamps in the trailer properly. (Units are
available at all auto parts stores or Wal-mart, etc.
It helps if you have a small 12v test light or meter to find the right
wires on the truck. You can make a test light from any 12v lamp and a
few feet of wire. Just solder 1 wire to each contact of lamp. Or get a
lamp socket with a bit of wire attached. Ground one wire on the truck.
Put a pin through the end of the other wire and CAREFULLY puncture the
insulation of the wire you are checking. The light will go on when you
find the live one.
