Hello -

My husband and I upgraded from tent camping to our 2005 Fleetwood Yuma.. and
we really like it.. But we are looking for what the best solution, or a
solution would be for gray water storage/disposal. Any ideas here?

Thanks!
Marcie

My solution was to buy 2 - 5 gallon gas cans at Wal-mart for 4.99 each. I put
them on top of the camper when we're leaving, and dump them on the way out.
Buy more if you need them, it's the cheapest and easiest way I've seen.

We use a clear collapsible drinking water container for easy storage once
they are empty.

hook up a garden hose and stick the other end under you neighbors pop-up.

ARGH!!! [sputter, spew] :)

I love it!!

If you really want to "do" gray water right, get a blue Tote-Along tank.
That's what we used with our popup. The 10-gallon version fit nicely inside
our folded popup.

Pick-up a small 2-3 gallon blue water jug and drill some 1" holes in
the bottom and add a few small rocks so the wind doesn't take it away
and it looks full. The great thing is you never seem to have to empty
it.

Gray Water patrol people, save the lecture and the band width, I DON"T
CARE.

You'll care if you do this in Maine. $5,000 fine and six months in jail.

I think farting is also illegal in Maine.

Probably not.

As a "blue state", they probably don't do such things, hence such a law would
be unnecessary.

Interesting, when I camped in Maine this past summer I saw alot of
hoses run out into the woods. I guess its one of those laws that is
only inforced if somebody complains.
