Try Mountainview CG in Haymarket VA. It's about an hour drive to DC but very
nice.

We recently went to DC and stayed in Fairfax - Lake Fairfax Park
It was very nice, the site we had was wooded. Bathrooms were pretty good.
Alots
of things to do at the park and relative close to Downtown DC via the metro
(great experience).

I also stayed at the Cherry Hill campground in my popup. They have a
shuttle that will take you to the Metro station. I had a TV with me and
pugged into the cable there. Even the tent sites have cable! Imagine that.
