Camping on the Gulf-Holiday Travel Park Destin, FL

Hi Everyone,

Although I have posted a few times to this newsgroup I'm mostly a
lurker. I just want to first let you all know how much I've learned
from you all. You guys are the greatest!

We have changed our plans AND our reservations for our vacation
starting this Sunday from Ft. Wilderness to Cherokee, NC back to Ft.
Wilderness but have now decided on Camping on the Gulf Holiday Travel
Park in Destin. We've stayed in Destin quite a few times in the past
but never camped there. Has anyone ever been to this campground? What
do you think? I saw somewhere that some people thought this was the
best one in Destin but I would really like to hear your comments.

We will be camping with our 2 girls ages 4 and 2 years old and we are
all really looking forward to it.

It's nice to read this and actually know the area that the person is talking
about. I am assuming you live in Florida. I do as well. Although we are
currently looking for a used pop up to purchase I would love to hear about
your experiences at the Florida campgrounds and which ones are the best. I
would expect Ft. Wilderness to be wonderful! Since Disney usually doesn't
do anything halfway. (We went on the Disney Magic cruise last month....I
would recommend this to anyone!) Also, What campground were you going to
stay at in Cherokee? I love that are as well. Thanks for the information
and have fun on your trip.
