camping near ann arbor MI

Good evening!
Can anyone recommend a nice campground (other than the KOA) very close to
Ann Arbor Michigan? My son will be attending a three day football camp at
the University next weekend. I know it is late notice!

Something within 10-15 miles would be great!

This is in order of proximity to the target area.

Not a lot to choose from right near Ann Arbor. The only one I've ever been
to is Proud lake.

Waterloo sounds great, but no direct experience.

Closest to AA.

1. BRUIN LAKE, PINCKNEY RECREATION AREA (20 Mins. NW of AA)

2. Waterloo Recreation Area (Portage Lake, Sugarloaf) 15-20 Min. W of AA

3. Wayne County Fairgrounds, Belleville, MI.

4. Proud Lake Recreation Area (Bass Lake, Huron River, Moss Lake)
Location The park is 6 miles north of I-96, exit 159, (3 miles southeast
of
Milford and 35 miles northwest of Detroit).

5. Dodge #4 State Park (Cass Lake)
