Extremist groups, including neo-Nazis and other white supremacist groups, have encouraged members to spread COVID-19 to police officers and Jews, according to an FBI report obtained by ABC News.
"Members of extremist groups are encouraging one another to spread the virus, if contracted, through bodily fluids and personal interactions," according to the alert issued by the FBI's New York office Thursday.
Intercepted messages from these groups show members were asked to use spray bottles filled with body fluids to attack police. Others were directed to spread to Jews by going to "any place they may be congregated, to include markets, political offices, businesses and places of worship."
"From pushing the idea that Jews created the coronavirus virus to sell vaccines to encouraging infected followers to try to spread the illness to the Jewish community and law enforcement, as the coronavirus has spread, we have observed how white-supremacists, neo-Nazis and others have used this to drive their own conspiracy theories, spread disinformation and incite violence on their online platforms," said Michael Masters, the head of an umbrella group that coordinates security for Jewish groups and synagogues around the country, called Secure Communities Network, told ABC News.

A man suspected of planning to attack a hospital treating coronavirus
cases in the US state of Missouri died after a shootout with the FBI,
officials say.

The suspect, identified by authorities as Timothy R Wilson, had been
under surveillance for months, which revealed him to be a "potentially
violent extremist" who had expressed racial and religious hatred, the
FBI said in a statement.
Wilson had previously considered attacking a school with a large number
of black students, a mosque and a synagogue, according to the FBI.

Wilson was listed as one of the administrators of the public Telegram chat for the NSM and was active there as recently as Tuesday afternoon. He wrote at the time that he believed the COVID-19 pandemic was being used by the government as an “excuse to destroy our people.”
“Mark my words it’s coming I hope people are ready,” he wrote.
The day prior, he used antisemitic language to comment about an article on the coronavirus outbreak.
“If you don’t think this whole thing was engineered by Jews as a power grab here is more proof of their plans,” Wilson wrote. “Jews have been playing the long game we are the only ones standing in their way.”
