Washington, DC -- The Traditional Values Coalition charged today that
homosexual extremists are taking advantage of a nation at war in order
to push their agenda.
"Most Americans are focusing on foreign and domestic threats but not the
homosexuals," said TVC Chairman Rev. Louis P. Sheldon. "On a number of
fronts, the homosexuals are pushing their pet projects even harder than
they did before September 11. They are political profiteers who are
taking advantage of this tragedy."
Rev. Sheldon pointed to the following examples:
Reversing a 10-year ban on so-called domestic partnership in the
District of Columbia. This was a prohibition put in place by previous
Democratic Congresses and signed by President Clinton.
Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-Massachusetts) with the silent approval of
several liberal Republicans approved an Education bill, which includes
anti-Christian "hate crimes" language.
California Governor Gray Davis signed AB25, which reversed an earlier
California law upholding traditional marriage.
The Red Cross and the United Way yielded to pressure from Empire State
Pride, a homosexual extremist group in New York. Instead of treating the
survivors of homosexual victims as single, they were designated
"married" and spousal benefits were granted to their homosexual
partners. "We don't devalue the loss of these innocent people," said
Rev. Sheldon, "but we think this is not the time to institutionalize
such 'partnerships' and put them on the same level as marriage."
"Religious Americans need to remain vigilant in this difficult time. We
need to watch closely as homosexual extremists attempt to sneak through
their agenda while our nation is focused on the Middle East," said Rev.
Sheldon. "This homosexual offensive on the home front is a cynical
manipulation of our government and it should stop immediately."
The Traditional Values Coalition is an interdenominational public policy
organization comprising more than 43,000 churches across the continental
United States and Puerto Rico. For more information, contact Steve Aiken

What, an agenda of equal rights?

What? Funny, I don't see homosexuals blowing up buildings or mailing anthrax to
people. But I do see anti-abortion nutcases doing that.

Gee, I guess they're sorry for looking for EQUAL RIGHTS. I guess they should
just stay under your bootheel forever eh?

As they should reverse it.

Anti-Christian? HA HA HA... what? You don't like being able to harass gays in
public schools? TOO BAD!!! If you can't seem to control your impulse to harass
gays then I have a good solution for you... GET OUT! The right-thinking American
population does not want you in our schools.

In other words, denying gays equal rights with heterosexuals. Good for Davis.

Of course you devalue it. You say so in your second sentence. Shame on you for
kicking these people when they're down.

Ha ha ha. You're fighting a losing battle, and you know it. In ten years, all
your efforts will be as nothing. You have already lost. I'm not gay, but I enjoy
watching bigotrous morons like you scurry around like rats on the Titanic.
Your cause is lost. And it couldn't happen to a nicer group of people...

Actually, Falwell and Robertson supported the terrorists who bombed the World
Trade Center. Do you enjoy taking the side of people who support terrorists who
kill 6000 Americans?
Answer me a few questions.
Who blows up buildings in support of their cause?
(a) homosexuals
(b) anti-abortion activists
Who shoots doctors in the back in support of their cause?
(a) homosexuals
(b) anti-abortion activists
Ey now! Watch the hate language!!
*squeek*
Rats indeed! rats take offense to that kind of blanket indictment of phylum
rodentia.
Got half a mind to gnaw on your skirting board, and poop in you cocoa puffs!
A thinking rodent in a senseless world...
