We sort of already mentioned this, but apparently not enough, as every
single email tip to Wonkette today is about the Invincible Cone of
Silence and how John McCain was in his “straight talk” limo watching
porn instead of humbly contemplating the Terrible Mystery of Jebus

Obama’s fault?
Simple: A game of chance was involved, called a “coin toss.” This
result of this gambling was that Barack Obama, a known poker player
and favorite candidate of God/Fate, won the coin toss. So he got to go
first at the Saddleback Church non-debate about who loves Jesus the
most. What was lonesome John McCain supposed to do, follow the rules
and stay in the Silence Cone? Fuck that shit. John McCain is a
billionaire maverick and the only thing he hates more than Jesus or
common people is following rules.
So he just cold hung out in his limo or bus or whatever, and then he
got caught, and his campaign sent an angry letter to NBC for somehow
also causing McCain to get caught breaking the basic rules of
Christianity.

Maybe McCain didn't hear Obama's answer... his handlers had the
opportunity to listen and brief McCain. In any event a Christian would
have disclosed what he was up to when not honoring Christians ,
others, the process and the rules.

Last week, a speech by Sen. John McCain had phrases that were likely
lifted directly from Wikipedia.
Now it seems McCain may have lifted another story last night at
megachurch pastor Rick Warren's Faith Forum. According to a very
persuasive Daily Kos diary, the anecdote McCain told about a North
Vietnamese prison guard making a cross in the dirt as a sign of
solidarity -- or as he said, "just two Christians worshiping together"
-- is very similar to a story about Alexander Solzhenitsyn and his
times in the Soviet Gulags.
"As Solzhenitsyn stared at the Cross drawn in the dirt his entire
perspective changed. He knew he was only one man against the all-
powerful Soviet empire. Yet he knew there was something greater than
the evil he saw in the prison camp, something greater than the Soviet
Union. He knew that hope for all people was represented by that
simple Cross. Through the power of the Cross, anything was possible."
Steven Waldman notes that McCain's recounting of this story has
changed over the years and "has gradually morphed from being about the
humanity of the guard to being about the Christian faith of the guard
and John McCain."

OK half-wit, so McCain got there so late that he heard all the
questions that were asked while Osama Obama was on stage? McCain was
late, he got there while Osama Obama was still stumbling on questions
like the big eared empty-headed fool he is, so McCain could not
possibly have heard all the questions. And don't forget, both
candidates were given some questions ahead of time, McCain two and
Osama Obama three. Rick Warren has shot down the simple-minded
dummycraps silly assertions that somehow McCain heard the questions
before hand.
McCain mopped the floor with Osama Obama and Just like the simple-

Osama Obama's pathetic performance was so poor that the only way the
simple-witted dummycraps can attempt to take attention away from it is
to cry cheat.
On the question of evil: “Should we ignore it, negotiate with it,

Obama then diverted a bit and focused in on the importance of showing
“humility” so the U.S. does not perpetrate its own evils.

blame America first.
So when we confront evil, what do we do then? Surrender? Will Osama
Obama even know evil when he sees it. Doubtful.
No mention of the largest evil force that faces the world today,
radical Islam.
McCain: “Defeat it,” McCain said without flinching. “No one should be
allowed to take thousands of American, innocent American lives. Of
course evil must be defeated…we are facing the transcendent challenge
of the 21st century–radical Islamic extremists.”
McCain went on to cite al-Qaeda’s use of a mentally disabled suicide
bomber last year as an example of “pure evil” and kept the focus on
foreign evil.
When asked what did he think his greatest moral failure was:
Sen. Barack Obama said that his greatest moral failure -- and the
country's -- has been selfishness' (note: now besides being a
"downright mean country" we are also a "selfish" country. Ain't it
just wonderful how Osama Obama and his wife, my-bell Michelle, love
America?)
Osama Obama told the Rev. Rick Warren that "we still don't abide by
that basic precept of Matthew: that whatever you do for the least of
my brothers, you do for me.
"That basic principle applies to poverty. It applies to racism and
sexism; it applies to not thinking about providing ladders of
opportunity for people to get into the middle class."
Notice no mention of the most "least of my brothers", a baby. So
abortions that kill babies doesn't apply to what Jesus said in
Matthew.
WARREN: A lot of good legislation gets killed. Can you give me a time
when you went against your own party loyalty, and even your own best
interest, for the good of the country.

Why did Rick Warren lie to his audience and say McCain was in a cone
of silence when he knew he clearly wasn’t even at the event? I didn’t
know he was a stand up comedian. Did anybody understand the Maxwell
Smart reference? This was a very visible and highly important forum
during this presidential campaign and for him to now say the cone
reference was a joke just doesn’t fly. And when is it the job of the
Secret Service to make sure John McCain wasn’t getting any tips about
Obama’s appearance during Warren’s forum? I’m confused. Aren’t they
supposed to be protecting his life? Warren says we’re attacking their
credibility. Huh?
It goes to the issue of credibility. Why should we believe Warren now
if he lied earlier? Why wasn’t McCain on time? Does the Secret Service
have an answer for that? Did Warren even ask McCain that? I don’t
really care if he told the candidates a few questions that he might
ask if he was fair to both of them, but his integrity is in question
now because of his attitude over McCain. The way it’s worked out—Obama
should have passed on this event.
