I want to say that I'll miss roundtable and castlenet, but really I started
missing these places years ago. It happens that every once in a while a
random thought pops in my head and I don't have anywhere to express it. That
makes me sad.
Anyways, anyone who is still left can email me at robe...@gmail.com , and
I'll send you my phone number. I thought about posting it here, because it's
not like very many people would read it, but I decided not to. I also have
my blog up at http://robjo.wordpress.com . It's spiritual, so I don't think
anyone will be all that intrested in it, but it's an E-place to find me if
you're ever looking for me, and at the very least a way to know I'm still
alive.
Now, for one last time, I'll talk about those things which concern me:
A year later and I'm still upset that they killed Bruce Wayne. It just isn't
Batman without Bruce Wayne.
On that note, Arkham Assylum is like Metal Gear but with Batman. I shouldn't
have to explain how awesome that is.
Really loving Lost. I can't wait for the finale. It's in the final season
and the show is still delivering strong episodes. I'd say that Dr Linus is
my all time favorite episode so far.
On that note, I wasn't too keen on Recon, and Ab Aterno was just horrific. I
don't know why people say it was a great episode. I really like Richard's
character and I like how Richard and Ben have been reduced from these almost
mythical figures who held all the secrets of the island to people who are
just as lost and confused as everyone else, so I was really looking forward
to this episode. I didn't like that it not only focused on Richard, but that
very little of the episode even featured other characters, and I didn't like
that they broke up the awesome flash-sideways events for a flashback (that's
so season 3). I wouldn't have absolutely hated the episode except the whole
thing from the concept down to the actual dialogue seems like it was written
by a twelve year old. Every character Richard meets prior to coming to the
island is a one dimensional, entirely self-serving, villanous character that
wants to harm poor Richard. And this from a show that is known for giving us
deep multi-facated characters who are in constant moral struggles. Where the
heroes and the villians alike turn out to have about as much good as they do
evil dwelling within them. I mean, the struggle of good versus evil, both
internally for the individual characters and externally on the island is the
basic premise of the show. Now we have an episode filled with nothing but
Richard, his dying wife, and these one-dimensional villians who, really, are
only evil and selfish in ways that are meant to advance the plot and get
Richard to where we know he ends up. It's just a horrible episode.
Loving Forza 3. I loved Gran Turismo, and I have the first four games. I
don't have five's prologue because I don't have a PS3. I've been looking for
a replacement game for GT for a long time. It's always had some of the best
racing and tracks and car selection out of all of the racing games. The
problem is that if you want to play the fun parts of the game you first have
to get anally raped, and the anal rape gets worse with each subsequent game.
Okay, anal rape is a metaphor, right now, but if the game progresses as it
has been I suspect Gran Turismo 6, if not 5, will come with an automated
dildo that must anally rape you prior to every race.
I'm happy to say that Forza 3 is my new racer. The racing engine and it's
physics are the best, bar none. I have to say it blows Gran Turismo 3 and 4
completely away. Even the lower end cars are fun to race because of the
physics engine. Also its nice to have all cars available from the get go for
two player fun and no more liscences or qualifying laps or random car wins
after twelve hours of racing. There are still some issues. If you want
upgraded cars, you still have to go through single player. I haven't played
online, but I heard its pretty bad. And I was a little upset by the lack of
certain options, like not being able to set the laps for the quick race and
not being able to modify car parts inside of free play. And I hate the small
print meant for big screen TVs, which I don't have. Still, all together a
great game, great engine, and lots of cars, with cool downloadable content
for purchase every month. I do like the Gran Turismo tracks a bit better,
but the Forza tracks aren't bad and with the better engine behind it and no
anal raping, I far prefer Forza.
JCVD - OMFG, this is one of my all time favorite movies, and Jean Claude Van
Dam not only stars in it, but he has the leading title role, and he plays
himself. Turns out he's not only is he a descent actor, but he's willing to
take a risky role that trashes the image he's spent a lifetime building. I
highly recommend this film.
Can't believe what's going on with the last episode of South Park. First
Comedy Central censors it, and then they pull all repeats and won't allow
the episode to be posted online. They're not even afraid of offending anyone
(they were willing to show Jesus as an internet porn junkie and Buddha doing
lines of coke), they just don't want to possibly upset militant Muslims.
Show the episode and don't be complete pussies! If we do what these groups
want when they make their threats, we only encourage them to continue these
violent and immoral acts of terrorism.
I had long hair until a couple of weeks ago. I donated it to children with
diseases. Now I'm sad with my boring short hair :(
Did anyone else know that the theme song from That 70s Show is an actual
song from the early seventies done by Big Star? I was floored when I heard
the original (called In The Street if you want to look it up).
And yes, I crossposted this message to the castle. Suck it Covenant, I'm
outta here.

You have options. There are pay servers that are available. If you
don't want to pay for service there are free servers that you can use.
Here are just a few of the free options

There's also Google Groups but I can't really recommend it for
posting.
Good to see e-i-e-i-o is still running !!!

A Man With Far Too Much Time On His Hands
I've been using aioe.org for a while. It's a good news server as long as you're
not one of those people that likes to post lots of stuff every day.
