Our internet is set up with a router that is connected to a switch, to
which all (3) computers are also connected. Works fine normally.
Today my father and brother asked me to call support cause the line
wasn't working. I was confused, cause it worked fine for me.

I found that I could ping google.com from both computers, but couldn't
go the site or any other, or check mail or anything.

I had no idea what to do, but my dad suggested plugging the network
cable to the computers out and back switching them around. That solved
the problem.

Even now, I have no clue what went wrong, and why it was fixed...

That happens sometimes, but can I ask why you have a the router plugged into
the switch?

You don't have to answer if the router has less than 3 ports, I guess :o)

I found the weirdest computer: it's an Amiga, it's soft-looking, with dainty grey tint, and it lights up, it's not even like a television. Computers are the weirdest televisions.
