So wrong. So very, very wrong. And sad, so very, very sad.

Crossposting is a *feature* of Usenet, a good feature that distinguishes Usenet from the abomination that
is Web forums. It was a feature from the beginning, and it remains a feature in spite of those censor-nazis
and net-nannies who often demanded it be supressed because tehy didn't like it.

Anyone who uses a real Usenet client can quickly and easily filter out crossposts should they so desire.
Failure to do so is the fault of the person who doesn't know how to properly configure a filter. Those folks
should just revert back to using Google since they clearly aren't competent enough to operate a Usenet
client.

I've crossposted this to some groups that were the home for people who shared this lesson with Usenet
many years ago. By and large they are all long gone from Usenet, and Usenet is all the poorer for their
absence.
