I was hoping you people could help me with a problem I have. My
girlfriend and I have been going out for eight months now, and it seems
that we've done everything there is to do in our city. We have no
problem thinking of new ideas in the summer, where we can do things
outdoors. The problem is that it is currently winter in Saskatchewan
where we live, and the mercury is hovering in the -30 degrees celsius
zone, so doing anything outside is pretty much out of the question. If
any of you have any fresh ideas that we may have misses, please post
them. I appreciate it.

Dancing (square, ballroom, line, disco [uugh])
Buddy-style workouts and exercising at a gym or fitness club
Shopping (in an enclosed center or mall)
Volunteer work as a couple
Visit a botanical garden, planatarium, museum.
Go to an indoor trade show at a nearby convention center

Just a few off the top of my head...

Is that a leading questions. <grin> Sure sounds like one to me. But since
you probably don't like sex, I suggest you both get on your knees and
spend the night praying to your local diety. <grin> I guess you could also
play Monopoly. I wish I had time to do half of what there is to do. But
then, I live in San Diego where it is always warm, and there are many
things to do. Back when I lived in Cincinnati, I use to play indoor
raqcket ball, go roller skating, bowling, play pool, etc. They even have
pool halls where people gather that are open all night 24-7.

Organise dinner at your place. You should both dress up for it. The food
doesn't need to be to fancy, but it should be something you both enjoy.
Put candles on the table, play music that you both enjoy. She will
probably reciprocate by offering dinner at her place next time.

You can invite friends over, for lunch or dinner. It should be another
couple who you are both very close to.

Some of the best times I've had, has been with friends.

Regards,
Chris.

Funny. Ha. Just in case some people really did get the wrong idea from
my post, I am not a religious nut, nor am I some sort of puritan. It's
just that we seem to have done everything that our town has to offer,
three or four times. I am looking for fresh ideas for when we can't
spend the evening at home, for whatever reason.

No, you didn't sound like one either. I was just playing. <grin> Actually,
you just sound like a decent person who is just bored with all the usual
stuff. I guess when I was younger I was often in the same boat. But now with
running a business, I barely have time to go to the bathroom, and playing
around in this newsgroup isn't helping matters either. Lately I have been
wasting way too much time playing around and looking for a wife, so thet she
can take up even more of my time. <grin>
