Help with next steps after first encounter...

I will like to have your opinions on what you think my next steps should
be in a situation like this:
I was recently invited abroad to attend the wedding of a friend of mine.
Both my friend and his spouse invited friends and relatives to stay
for sometime over there and planned some activities. During this stay I
met a close friend of the bride and I was attracted to her immediately.
Unfortunately, due to a different schedule, I only had the chance to see
her for a day and a half. I left early in the morning the day after the
wedding.
At the wedding party I was able to chat for a while with her and she
seemed to like me, unfortunately though I totally forgot to ask her
number (yes, I know, I'm an idiot). So at this moment I have no ways to
get in touch with her.
Anyway, the problem is, should I ask my friend's wife to get me in touch
with her (they're best friends)? and if she does, how can I re-connect
with her based on a 40 minutes chat?
I feel I connected well with her and I really like her. But
unfortunately I can't just expect to bump into her: she lives on the
other side of the ocean...
What should I do?
