Bill Wayman (Greg : Spelling error by the site.) returns with THE ROLLING STONES
The original Rolling Stones bassist met with the band at a Los Angeles recording studio at the invitation of Mick Jagger. The album will be a tribute to late drummer Charlie Watts.
“Bill hasn’t seen the band together for years but he always loved Charlie. This record is really a tribute to Charlie, so I couldn't refuse
Wyman hasn't appeared on the Stones album since 1989 Steel Wheels. Four years later, in 1993, he left the band.
In 2012 he reunited on stage with Jagger, Watts, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood for their 50th anniversary tour.
The new album will also include drum parts recorded by Watts prior to his death
And to quench rumors of old rivalries, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will have a couple of features on the record.
The Stones haven't released a full-length album containing original material since A Bigger Bang in 2005.
Look forward to the album.
