It may sound a little weird but I'm trying to come up with as
many fish related songs to add to a section of my webpage
+ I want to make a 90 minute "fish tape" for a friend .

Any suggestions ???

A few examples I've come up with :

Fish Heads/ Barnes & Barnes
Shrimp Boats/ Jo Stafford ??
Too many fish in the sea/ Marvelettes
I want some seafood mama ?? / Fats Waller
Barracuda / Heart
Octopus Garden/ Beatles :

You git the idea .

Any era, any type of fish, crustacean, aquatic sea creatures
are cool.

Thanks for your help

Fishin' Blues, by Taj Mahal from Giant Step/De Ole Folks at Home is a
great little acoustic fishin' song.

The only ones applicable to this newsgroup that I can think of would be:

Beatles - ³Octopus¹ Garden²
Alvin Cash & The Crawlers - "The Barracuda"
The Marvelettes - "Too Many Fish in the Sea"
The Monkees - "The Porpoise Song"
Bobby Rydell - "The Fish"
Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels - "Too Many Fish in the Sea / Three
Little Fishes"

I recall that the Smothers Brothers sang a song which had the lyric
"Crabs walk sideways and Lobsters walk straight.

The punch line to that joke is "Oh God I've got lobsters".

What about Fish Heads by Barnes & Barnes, or Gulf Stream by Kip Addotta

Pinkard & Bowden have 2 songs you may appreciate: "I Lobster But I Never
Flounder" and "A White Sport Coat and a Pink Crustacean." P&B are a
country music/comedy duo based in Nashville, which tours comedy clubs.
They had a modest recording career in the early 1980s.

"West Dream" by Kip Adotta [sic?] it is on a Dr. Demento compliation, and
at least one other release from Rhino records.

"Shrimp Boats" by Jo Stafford

"Three Little Fishes" a big band era song, but I'm not sure by whom

"Theme from Jaws" either the soundtrack, or a John Williams compliation

"Too Many Fish in the Sea" by Martha & the Vandellas

As interchangeable as some people think girl groups are, they're not.
This was done by the Marvelettes.
