I received the following mail from a friend of mine, Bertrand Kohler.
He has some difficulties in posting new articles to this group, so he
asked me to post it for the people who are interested!

>I saw your post about the Phantom. Here's some information for you :
>The real Phantom name is Jerry Lottis alias Jerry Lot alias Marty Lott. He's
>born in Mobile Alabama in 1938.
>"Love me" came out in 1960 with "Whisper your love" (on the B side).
>A less wilder take from "Love me" was published in 1978 on the LP "Cotton
>Pickin' Rock" (ABCL 5247).
>Another version came out on LP Original Rock Collection records CL 1018 with
>a wild scream at the begining of the song but nobody's sure that it's a
>Jerry's screm.
>On White Label LP 8822 "Rock & Rock-a-billy again" there's a demo song "Hey Bop
>hop" that seems to be from Jerry.
>I get those infos on the french book "Country & Rockabilly Encyclopeadia".
>
>So could you put those infos on the Newsgroup for me.
